Born in Mexico City, Mexico, costume designer Márion Talán has nurtured her work by collaborating with artists and innovators of dance, drama, performance art, and opera for over two decades. She has been the wardrobe supervisor at the Juilliard School for 14 years and has designed at NYU for 13 years, collaborating with Joe Salvatore on plays and research-based performances including the Verbatim Performance Lab (VPL) and Her Opponent.
Marion has worked closely with internationally acclaimed choreographer Caleb Teicher. CT&Co founded in 2015 has expanded to commissions from Works & Process at the Guggenheim, New York City Center, The Joyce Theater, several engagements with symphony orchestras (including the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center), and many national and international touring engagements with the company’s repertoire. Collaborations include Small and Tall, Meet Ella, Bzzzz and More Forever.
